  Sweep off dust, leaves, and bird droppings with a soft brush, then hose the canvas with clean water to prevent staining and mildew build-up.
• Use Mild Soap Only
  For stubborn marks, scrub gently with a sponge and a weak solution of lukewarm water plus neutral household soap. Avoid bleach, harsh detergents, or solvents—they strip the water-repellent finish.
• Dry Completely Before Storage
  Always let the fabric air-dry fully, preferably in shade, before folding or rolling. Storing canvas while damp encourages rot and mildew.
• Reproof Every 2–3 Years
  Restore water beading by applying a canvas-compatible DWR (durable water-repellent) spray once performance starts to wane—especially after deep cleans.
• Inspect Seams & Tie-Downs Seasonally
  Check stitch lines, eyelets, and webbing for wear. Reinforce or replace areas that chafe on sharp corners to extend service life.
• Store in a Cool, Ventilated Space
  When not in use, keep the canvas loosely rolled in a breathable bag away from direct sunlight and extreme heat.
